Political is personal started out as an idea. to this date over 50 stories have been published channeling the words of palestinian and israeli women.
all of the work behind political is personal is voluntary and unpaid, yet much work is being done behind the scenes by memduha, lesley and sarah and it is growing: all from logistics (i.e. travel expenses to reach the interviewees in israel and palestine), to editing of the interviews/stories as well as creating as much of a visibility and impact as possible in the area and around the world. all of this takes much time, effort and resources.
